Cleaning and disinfection agents CARELA® clean and also disinfect potable water installations within one operation. The cleaning dissolves lime, iron and manganese deposits.

Mineral coating, slime and algae are completely released and dissolved after the application of CARELA® products.

By simple spraying with a low-pressure spraying unit (see CARELA® equipment and accessories) CARELA® products penetrate through mineralized deposits. By releasing and dissolution of their particles, suspension is created and this can be rinsed after several minutes of action by a stream of clean water.

CARELA® cleaning and disinfection agents have been developed not to damage cleaned surfaces. They are internationally tested and certified for use in potable water installations.

• Based on hydrochloric acid without phosphates and detergents
• Safe for working and the environment
• Removes carbonate encrustations as well as iron, manganese, calcium and biofilms from walls of reservoirs, tanks, pipes and other water supply facilities
• Suitable for acid-resistant surfaces (e.g. for chlorinated rubber, epoxy resins, PVC, PE, ceramic tiles, fiberglass or concrete)
• Not suitable for stainless steel

CARELA® BIOforte (cleaning agent for regeneration of wells and water supply facilities)

• Based on hydrochloric acid (10 - 20 %) and phosphoric acid (< 10 %)
• Removes carbonate incrustations and coatings of iron, manganese and calcium from vertical and horizontal wells and their walls, reservoirs, pipelines and from other water supply facilities
• Suitable for regeneration and cleaning of materials such as steel, steel coated with epoxy resin, steel coated with rubber, steel with gravel coating, PVC, PVC with gravel coating, PVC-U, earthenware, ceramics or gravel filter without support pipe
• Not suitable for stainless steel

CARELA® HYDRO (cleaning agent for stainless facilities)

• Based on sulfuric acid (5 - 10 %), phosphoric acid (< 5 %) and sodium hydrogen sulfate (< 15 %)
