Shaped activated carbon SC 40 is a high quality product in the form of pellets (cylinders) manufactured from selected types of anthracite with high-temperature activation by water steam with an exactly controlled technological process.

SC 40 is known for its strength and permeable structure, which assigns it an outstanding sorption capacity for a wide spectrum of organic compounds. SC 40 is intended especially for capture of solvents from the gaseous or liquid phase. Especially well, it works as a regenerable cartridge of organic solvents (petrol, benzene, toluene, chlorinated solvents, cyclohexane, cumene, etc.).

It is also suitable for degreasing of condensates and for water purification, where especially its excellent mechanical strength is applied as well as its low pressure loss.

Delivery

Carbon is delivered in multilayer bags per 25 kg.
